The yearbook staff would like to inform you of some upcoming dates and events. Please add to your calendars and help us to inform students and parents of these opportunities.

Our theme for the 20-21 yearbook is UNMASKED.  While we will begin the year wearing masks physically, we want to work to “unmask” the CHS student body, faculty and staff by asking questions to learn their stories. We have organized the academics, clubs, and student life section of the book chronologically by designating a spread for each week. So please let us know via email when your club, class or team is doing something that you would like for us to document. We would like dates, times, and photos. If you take photos of an event, share them with us: tessa.shirley@hallco.org or alisha.bradshaw@hallco.org

Picture Days for faculty and staff and underclassmen are August 31 and Sept. 1. Strawbridge will have 3 photographers set up in the theater to take photos from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Please plan to have your photo taken on one of those days. We will call students by alphabet. 

Senior Portrait retakes will happen on Sept. 3 and 4 in the media center. Due to COVID, Strawbridge cannot do the traditional drape and tux photos. So we are asking seniors to wear black for their yearbook portrait. For those seniors who just want to have their portrait taken for the yearbook, there will be no cost. For those who would like more poses, the sitting fee will be $10 dollars. This fee does not include outfit changes. Early Bird Offer – From now until Sept. 21, the cost of yearbooks is $65. This offer is the lowest price of the year. To take advantage of this deal go to www.wareagleyearbook.com to purchase. All yearbook sales will be online.  If you want to purchase a yearbook for your student or yourself at the cheapest price, buy now :). 

Senior Ads are on sale now. Direct students to www.wareagleyearbook.com for details. The opportunity to purchase at the cheapest price ends on Sept. 28. 


Students who have opted for the virtual learning option will be able to checkout Chromebooks beginning Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 between 12-3 pm each day.


When you arrive at the main gate (where the guard shack is located, please turn right into the senior parking lot. Drive to the back of the school and you will see the Spirit Wall. Turn left there into the round about that’s behind the media center. Staff members will be there to assist.

Students must have an Acceptable Use Agreement (AUA) signed before a Chromebook will be issued to them. The form can be completed electronically via the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus (select “documents” from the menu and complete it digitally) or there will be paper copies available at the pick-up area. Just bring your own pen with you.

From August 10 through 21, the Hall County School District will provide meals at no cost to children under 18 by way of bus delivery. Breakfast and lunch meals will be delivered daily, Monday through Thursday. Thursday deliveries will consist of breakfast and lunch for both Thursday and Friday. Bus deliveries will begin at 8:30am and routes should finish by 9:30am. Please be in view from the road when waiting for meal deliveries. Food not immediately consumed should be stored in a refrigerator or cooler. Meal pickups will also be available at most schools. Please check the Hall County Nutrition website for pick up times https://foodservices.hallco.org/web/. You may also contact your child’s school regarding meal pick up information. For questions regarding bus routes, please call Transportation at 770-287-0942. For questions related to menus, please call Nutrition at 770-534-1080.
