Ellie Willis was selected to speak at this evening’s district Board of Education meeting to represent Career Tech and Work-Based Learning within the district.
Ellie shared about the impact Career Tech and her Work-Based Learning experience have had on her preparation for a career in healthcare. Through her internship at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, she completed multiple clinical rotations, including wound care and emergency medicine. During these rotations, she gained hands-on experience observing and assisting with patient care, learning clinical procedures, supporting intake processes, and working alongside healthcare professionals in both fast-paced and specialized settings.
