Cross-curricular work at its finest 🤣🤣
Our upper-level Healthcare classes combined with our Theater classes for an assignment this week—the theater students had to create a patient persona/scenario where their injury or ailment had something to do with Turkey. The Healthcare students had to assess the patients based on what information they provided and make their individualized medical recommendations for them. The EMR classes even had a chance to practice their gurney skills before they began the scenarios. Way to go War Eagles!
This great group of students had the opportunity to attend the 25th Annual Latino Conference at Georgia Gwinnett College this past weekend. They had the opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers, learn about key leadership skills, visit with representatives from local colleges and businesses, and learn about the impact they can make in their communities. Way to represent War Eagles!
