Today, Chestatee High welcomed local veteran Fred Hulsey, a 101-year-old who proudly served in the Merchant Marines for 39 years. Fred’s life is remarkable, filled with memorable events and inspiring stories of his service to our country. He was interviewed by Zach Roach, with support from Mr. McIntyre and the outstanding War Eagle TV staff.
Fred is the great-uncle of CHS Media Specialist Dana Farr and the great-great-uncle of CHS student Amelia Farr. We are grateful that all of our War Eagles will have the opportunity to hear his story as part of our upcoming Veterans Day tribute.
Thank you, Fred, for your service, and thank you for visiting us today! @_hcsdofficial...
