This past Saturday, the War Eagle Band competed at Flowery Branch High School with 17th other Bands at the Branch Classic Marching Band competition. The band had an amazing performance and took home the following honors:
· Straight Superior Ratings in all categories (superior is the highest rating for marching band)
· 2nd in class AAA for Colorguard
· 1st in class AAA for Percussion
· 1st in class AAA for Overall Band, including placing first in the all sub-captions (music performance, visual performance, music effect and visual effect)
· 2nd in Silver Division in Percussion (Silver Division is Classes A – AAA)
· 1st in Silver Division in Overall Band – Making them the Silver Division Grand Champions!
