Hunter Bennett – 2022 Georgia Scholar
Congratulations to CH Senior, Hunter Bennett, who was selected as a 2022 Georgia Scholar!
The Georgia Department of Education recognized graduating seniors from schools across Georgia as 2022 Georgia Scholars.
Georgia Scholars are students who have carried exemplary course loads during their four years of high school; who performed excellently in all courses; who successfully participated in interscholastic events at their schools and in their communities; and who have assumed active roles in extracurricular activities sponsored by their schools. Each Georgia Scholar receives a seal for his or her diploma.
Hunter is a remarkably well-rounded student, participating in robotics, chorus, and baseball while at CHS. He is a leader as well, serving as president of both the National Honor Society and Robotics, while also being the treasurer of Chorus. He is an outstanding AP student who has excelled in the CHS RACE program of choice for the past 4 years.
The GA Scholar program is coordinated by GaDOE’s Excellence Recognition office and through local coordinators in each public school system and private schools throughout the state.
